Last week, the electronic music community was shocked to learn of the passing of Robert Miles who was battling stage four metastatic cancer.
The 47-year-old was an iconic trance producer and was an active DJ from the tender age of 15. In his almost 30-year career, the Italian-Swiss spinner has given us some fantastic songs down through the years including, 'Fable', 'One and One Song' and 'Freedom'.
But, none of his songs gave us as much teenage joy as the delightful 'Children'.

From the quiet opening of the piano keys to the clashing of sound in the middle to the soft finish at the end, 'Children' was the perfect secondary school and college club classic.
There's good news for all you lovers of this legendary tune. In memory of the late Robert Miles, a campaign has been launched by fans of the producer to get "Children" into the UK Singles Chart.
The concept is simple: play, stream and download the track 'Children' as much as possible until it returns to the charts. 'Children' has already returned to the Beatport Trance charts in the No. 1 and 4 positions.
The UK campaign is set to snowball projects to get the song back into the public domain with Ibiza Club News stating their ambition on twitter to get the song back charting again.

'Children' was released in parts of Europe in 1995 but did not hit the UK airwaves until February 1996.
Miles' has given two inspirations for the idea behind 'Children'. The first was a response to photographs of a father and child during the Yugoslav War. The other reason was his dream to create a track to end DJ sets while also intending to calm rave attendants prior to making their way home.
The song was Miles' most successful single, being certified Gold and Platinum in several countries and reaching number one in more than 12 countries.
