The UK flagship restaurant opens October 31st in London

Wingstop, the award-winning chicken wing restaurant, is finally coming to the UK.

Opening its first UK site in Central London, taking pride of place in Cambridge Circus, just off Shaftesbury Avenue, the much celebrated U.S. chain officially opens its doors on 31st October 2018.

With more than 1,200 locations worldwide, this will be Wingstop’s first foray into the European market.

Since setting up back in 1994 with one mission: “to serve the world flavour,” the Wingstop brand has developed into one of the fastest growing brands in restaurant history.

With co-signings from the likes of rapper Rick Ross, who owns dozens of Wingstop restaurants Stateside and continues to endorse the brand by rapping about its much lauded lemon pepper wings, the restaurant chain is set to dominate the chicken wing market in London with its “one-of-a-kind flavour experience.”

Rick Ross had a message for the UK regarding the opening of the London restaurant:

Wings will be cooked to order, and Wingstop’s signature wing offering includes a selection of uniquely styled flavours, including Brazilian Citrus Pepper, Mango Habanero, Garlic Parmesan and fan favourite Lemon Pepper.

Lemon pepper, lemon pepper, lemon pepper. You’re going to hear that a lot now that Wingstop is opening in London. Over the years, the chain has gained cult status, particularly for its lemon pepper wings.

Already causing excitement amongst its loyal fan base in the UK, the likes of DJ Charlie Sloth and rappers such as AJ Tracey and Not3s have let it be known that they will be spending a lot of time ordering from Wingstop now that it’s available in London.

The press release for the London Wingstop reads:

“Wingstop will be establishing a new, physical interior identity for UK fans, taking inspiration from contemporary retail spaces to create an environment that is fresh, memorable, and unexpected. Wingstop has partnered with renowned retail agency Brinkworth who have been responsible for the design of London stores such as Supreme, Drake’s OVO and Voodoo Ray’s.

The style doesn’t just stop at the food and interiors, the flavour experts have also collaborated with London-based luxury British menswear brand, Clothsurgeon, to create bespoke staff uniforms and merchandise.”

Wingstop UK officially opens October 31st at 138 Shaftesbury Avenue, London, WC2H 8HB
