They’ve finally broken their silence
Since they announced their reunion yesterday, there has been much speculation over whether the Mancunian band will headline next year’s Glastonbury.
Now, the brothers have put that rumour to bed with a statement on social media confirming they are not playing the iconic festival.

The statement read: “Despite media speculation, Oasis will not be playing Glastonbury 2025 or any other festivals next year.
“The only way to see the band perform will be on their Oasis Live ’25 World Tour.”
The band announced they were reuniting 15 years after they broke up for a 14 date tour of the UK and Ireland next summer.
The run of shows start in Cardiff on July 4th meaning the band looked as though they could be free for a potential appearance at Glastonbury.
After they have played Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on the July 4 and 5, they will travel to Manchester’s Heaton Park for four nights on 11, 12, 19 and 20 before playing four nights at Wembley Stadium. The run of shows will conclude with two nights at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield and Dublin’s Croke Park.
Tickets to the shows go on sale on Saturday at 9am with a presale on Friday.
However, fans have been left feeling stressed after submitting their details for the presale ballot but not receiving a confirmation email.
