Emails have never been refreshed so much!
The tickets have not even gone on sale yet but already Oasis fans are stressed after they received two different emails when signing up for presale ticket access.
The highly anticipated reunion tour sees Liam and Noel Gallagher get the band back together 15 years after breaking up and it is likely the shows will be the hottest ticket in town.
The brothers are playing 14 dates across the UK and Ireland with tickets going on general sale on Saturday, 31 August at 9am.
Last night, the band launched a presale ballot, but fans were left flustered after submitting their details only to receive an email which read: “Nearly there… confirmation emails may be delayed, due to an extremely high volume of entries.”
Despite fans submitting their ballots on Tuesday evening, some had sleepless nights and still hadn’t received their ballot confirmation on Wednesday morning.
On user on X said: “I’ve only seen ONE person say they’ve got a confirmation email about Oasis presale tickets? Is it just me missing out?”
Another said: “Anyone not received the confirmation email about the presale ballot? Best believe I used every email address I have and nothing on any of them a whole 12 hours later.”
While a third wrote: “Pretty sure I’m the only one who didn’t get the Oasis presale confirmation email.”
“Gone from checking my emails every 30 days to every 30 seconds waiting for the Oasis ballot,” one fan joked.
Fans have noticed that two different emails are being sent out to people. The first reads: “Due to the high demand for tickets, and to ensure the maximum number of fans have a fair opportunity to purchase early access tickets, applicants will be selected for presale access via ballot.”
It clarifies that ballot registration comes to an end at 7pm on Wednesday, 28 August and that should you be successful access codes will be released on Friday morning.
The second email sent to ‘loyal fans’ said: “We’ve identified you as a loyal fan of Oasis. To thank you for your support, you will automatically be selected if you correctly register and confirm entry in the presale ballot before it closes.”
Online ‘sleuths’ have figured out that those who have received the second email may have done so because they have been signed up to the Oasis newsletter for some time.
An Oasis fan account said: “Right, done some digging. I believe two different emails were sent out from Oasis. One for ‘loyal fans’ giving them a guaranteed pre sale code and one for the ballot.
“I could be wrong, but I received two different emails from Oasis. Suggesting that one of them is a guaranteed promo code.”
