Ariana Grande releases charity single following benefit concert

A very moving cover of a great song

What a rendition.

Ariana Grande has become the darling of Manchester following her benefit charity concert on June 4, but the good will she has brought to the city is not finished just yet.

The singer closed the concert on Sunday with a unique cover of the Wizard of Oz song, Somewhere Over The Rainbow and has subsequently released the song as a standalone single with all proceeds going to victims of the Manchester tragedy on May 22.

This is the second single that Grande has released in aid of the Manchester attack. She re-released her own song, One Last Time, in late May following the tragedy.

She has used social media to share pictures and videos from the concert which include her interacting with fans as well as her duets with Miley Cyrus and Chris Martin.

However, on Tuesday evening at approximately 7pm, she posted a video of a baby singing along to her new charity single on Instagram and anyone looking for proof of just how touching Grande’s performance was on Sunday night doesn’t need to look any further.

The baby bursts into tears upon hearing Grande singing and at one stage looks as though they might even join in with the sing-song.

It portrays beautifully just how we all felt when we heard the cover on Sunday.
