But it looks like they're going to be testing this tech in other countries later this years, with the cheif digital officer at McDonald's Atif Rafiq saying: "We will be piloting ordering capabilities through mobile in some geographies outside the United States this year.
"It's important for us to work out the kinks so we can scale it up as soon as possible."
McDonald's fans will be able to order with a few clicks and then pick and or drive-thru and collect when it's ready. Magic.
They're also working on an in-app loyalty card system where you can bag a free McCafe beverage every sixth order.
But this online order development could really take the app, and your McDonald's experience, to a new level.
