She did the DNA test after noticing something was a bit 'off' about her child's characteristics
A woman who claims she has never cheated on her husband has been left dumbfounded after a DNA test found that their child isn't his.
Speaking to Ghanaian social media personality and songwriter David Bondze-Mbir, a woman in Ghana has been seeking answers to her unique situation online.
Bondze-Mbir often receives messages from people who are looking for advice, on anything from dealing with mental health to how to improve sex in the relationship.
The anonymous woman thought that something was a bit "off" with her child's characteristics so decided to secretly do a DNA test to put her suspicions at ease.
But when the results came back, she was simply left even more confused, particularly because she's "never cheated on him, before or after their wedding."
They showed that she is indeed the mother of her child - but her husband is not the father.
Explaining the unique story on Facebook, David said: "Because her husband is the only man she's been with since meeting him, she's finding it very difficult to wrap her head around the DNA result, and exactly how to go about it.
"No one will believe she's really not been with any other man since meeting her husband. She got pregnant with this particular child, months after their wedding."

In a comment under the original post, he said: "I do believe her when she says she's not known anyone besides her husband. Some health professionals are suggesting a probability of a child carrying just one parent's DNA, and that, it's scientifically proven."
Many were quick to offer their theories about how the situation had come about.
Several suggested it could be an example of 'child swapping' but David was sure that the woman "is the mother."
Others urged the woman to take another test somewhere else before drawing conclusions.
"Repeat the test and ask her husband. The answer is in his reaction," suggested one person, to which David said: "Agreed!".
One person managed to think up an even weirder explanation, writing: "He (Her husband) was probably a twin at conception, unfortunately the other didn’t make it.
"Therefore she carries the DNA of her dad's ‘dead’ sibling. Her husband has two DNAs. This is just a theory of what might have happened. Not a fact."
And someone else voiced their support for this theory, saying: "I watched a YouTube video where by the mother tested negative to all her three kids. It was later they found out she has two DNA. She absorbed the DNA of a twin who couldn't form properly, so her kids got the DNA of that unborn twin."
