While most people would just freeze, this man took action.

A young Chinese man is being hailed a national hero for selflessly attempting to break a woman's fall in Enchi City in central China's Hubei Province. The man, identified as Mr. Feng, heard her screams from the 11th floor of a residential building and ran out of a nearby restaurant. He put out his arms to catch her but, unfortunately, could do little to protect the woman from such a high fall. He was knocked unconscious by the sheer force of the collision and suffered a number of injuries. "He was knocked out by the impact and suffered injuries on his knee joints, and had a tibial plateau fracture. His anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments and the medial ligament have been dislocated," said Li Yanbing, doctor of spinal surgery department, Enshi Central Hospital. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RlGcTB-il8
