The US Marines are some of the toughest soldiers on the planet.

But when they came face to face with a load of school children, we thought they might go easy on them. We were wrong. The Marines turned up at Fleet Activities Yokosuka to have a fun Nerf gun fight with kids there...and they absolutely annihilated them. They came in full military gear, camouflage, helmets and riot gear and used their superior military training and tactics to out-gun the youngsters. "We had to beat the kids, of course, said one marine. "Well you know, you can't show the enemy weakness. Marines never lose. We weren't going to lose today, kids or not." It does look bloody good fun though...
