You can make this bed, but you won't be able to "lie" in it.
A Spain-based mattress company called Durmet has claimed its new mattress is equipped with a system that sends messages to your smartphone to detect if your partner is cheating.
The "Smarttress" comes with something called a Lover Detection System, which will alert you to suspicious "activity".
It costs $1,750 (£1,200), and has a ton of sensors inside the spring system that vibrate when the bed is...in use.
It also picks up on the specifics, analysing duration, impact, and intensity.
Yikes.
Its tagline is 'If your partner isn't faithful, at least your mattress is'.
Which isn't entirely comforting.
What if your partner is having an affair elsewhere, or secretly enjoys jumping on the bed while you're out at Tesco?
This raises more questions than it answers, frankly.
