A new study of 2,000 UK adults has shown that thirty is the age where people are at their most adventurous. Researchers said that this was the age where people feel that they're more willing to let their hair down and experience high-octane sports and new cultures. Upon reaching their third decade, those polled admitted they’re 'champing at the bit' to get away from the daily grind, having established themselves in their careers and social circles. Commissioned by The Oxford Ski Company, the research also revealed the things we most want to do but haven’t gotten round to yet - including swimming with dolphins and bungee jumping. Rupert Longsdon, Founder and MD of The Oxford Ski Company, said: “No-one can accuse the British of lacking ambition, as these results show.There are some incredible and life-changing experiences – it’s just a shame we sometimes struggle to achieve them.’’ Amid this, the study also found 80% of the population have visited Europe, nearly half have been to North America, and three in ten have travelled to Africa and Asia.
