Footage recorded last weekend was posted by the European Space Agency (ESA) on Saturday.
To witness the Northern Lights from a vantage point on Earth must be an incredible experience for anyone lucky enough to do so, but the view ain’t bad from space either.
In fact, as is evident from footage recorded by Italian astronaut Paolo Nespoli on Friday, September 15, it’s an amazing sight.
Nespoli posted the footage on his Twitter account and it was released by the European Space Agency on YouTube on Saturday, with Nespoli describing it as ‘Di una bellezza spaziale’, which translates loosely as ‘of spatial beauty’.
