McDonald’s has created this very strange new breakfast burger (Pics)

McDonald's breakfast is the stuff of legend.

For those lucky enough to be able to get up before lunchtime on a weekend, it's the food of the Gods. The Double Sausage and Egg McMuffin is sweet ambrosia to us on a Sunday morning when we're dog rough and hanging out of our arses from the night before. But the Great British breakfast classics of egg, bacon and sausage might just be about to have a strange new bedfellow. McDonald's appear to be testing out a rather avant garde new item for their early morning menu - the Chicken McGriddle. We're not too sure how we feel about poultry for breakfast, especially wedged between a pancake/waffle thingy. https://twitter.com/SplitsAtoms/status/700006280363143170/photo/1?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw It's currently being tested in 11 American branches of the fast food chain and reports say if it goes well, it could become a regular inclusion on the McDonald's Menu. Fried chicken between a waffle/pancake bun...we might just have a go at making it ourselves. To be honest, whenever we're hungover we'll pretty much eat anything they put in front of us, so bring it on.
