Oktoberfest - Munich's world famous beer festival - is just a couple of weeks away.
Millions are expected to head to the Bavarian city for this year's event, which will run from September 16 to October 3.
With excessive alcohol consumption inevitable for many of those in attendance, the folks at Adidas have seen fit to release their own beer and vomit-proof footwear especially for Oktoberfest '17.
As the video below makes clear, a special durable puke and beer repellent (DPBR) coating on the new München trainer is designed to resist any spilled beer and - worse still - alcohol-induced vomit.
The shoe also looks pretty tidy, too. Made from leather, its brown colour is inspired by the Bavarian lederhosen many men choose to wear while attending the festival. Along with the iconic three stripes, the word 'prost' - German for 'cheers' can also be seen in gold lettering.
