Man tries to cash in on heatwave with genius ‘portable plunge pool’ that can be filled up in five-minutes

As the country experiences its hottest temperatures of the year, and gears up for yet more baking sun in the coming days, many have been looking for innovative ways to keep cool. Well, one man may have found the answer, and has jokingly seen whether he could make a bit of money out of it as well. Chris Davis, from Chester, took to his local Facebook group, Cheshire, Wirral & North Wales Bargains, to advertise what he had labelled as a "portable plunge pool." But this is actually something we all have, as it was in fact simply a wheelie bin filled to the brim with water. Davies posted: "With the temperatures hitting 30 degrees today (Monday), we all need to cool off and that's where the portable plunge pool comes into its own! "It fills up within five minutes and is available in black, brown or green. Family size also available in red." This is because the Met Office has issued a rare amber weather warning for extreme heat across almost much of England and Wales.
