Kelsey Parker has revealed her final moments with her late husband, Tom Parker, who died in March following a continuous battle with brain cancer.

After an 18-month battle against brain cancer, the Wanted’s Tom Parker passed away and is survived by two-year-old Aurelia and one-year-old Bodhi. Kelsey Parker, 32, has spoken for the first time since the musician’s funeral, where it’s said fans lined the streets.

“I got into bed with him. We were in bed together for two hours, I just wanted that time with him,” she told The Sun. “I didn’t want anyone coming in. We needed that time together to talk.”

Kelsey described how Tom was “always so romantic” and how being in a hospice did not change that.

“That night I could see within him that he was still trying to figure a way out of this,” she said, adding that Tom had been in the facility for a week.

“I said, ‘You know Tom, I will be OK, the kids will be OK. I will make sure that everything you want them to know, the things that you’ve taught me over the years, I promise to teach them it all’.”

He then took off his wedding ring and put it on Kelsey’s finger, which she still wears now.

Tom’s final moments were spent alone with Kelsey, which she says was beautiful.

“When he passed away I closed his eyes and I gave him a kiss and said I love you. I told him he was my everything,” she added.

Kelsey said that a feather fell from the sky following his death and she “knew straight away it was him.”

In an Instagram update posted on May 1, Kelsey wrote: “Thank you for all your kind messages today and over the last few weeks.

“I wasn’t sure if or when to do an interview but Tom always believed in sharing our journey so this felt right. All of your messages have reassured me of that.

“I can’t tell you what it means to us. For keeping Tom and the kids in all of your thoughts and prayers. Positive Parkers Forever. Thank you.”
