Furious woman dumped by ex so he could ‘focus on his career’ – dates his boss instead

'Am I suppose to date someone less than I am?'

After being dumped by her boyfriend, who wanted to "focus on his career", a woman did what any reasonable person would do; she dated his boss instead. Influencer and movie producer Polina Nioly told of her cautionary tale on TikTok, where she has amassed an impressive 264,000 followers. "POV: He broke up with you to focus on his career and now you're going on a date with an owner of the company he works at," the Russian-speaking influencer wrote on top of her video.

Nioly seemingly spends a lot of time on staircases filming TikToks - and in this video, she is clad in a black satin dress and accompanying silver heels. The majority of her comment sections are celebrating her revelation, with the word "boss" being evoked in more than one instance. "Girl boss move," wrote one user, while another said, "Yess that's the energy." In her comment section, Nioly added to the story and explained: "Not the people in a comment saying something like 'oh girls are searching for money'." She added: "Besties I am a millionaire with a 100 + employees, am I suppose to date someone less than I am? No thanks." In response, TikTok users have pointed out that it seems a little "backwards" to ridicule a guy for wanting to better his career while also insinuating he was "less than" for not being as successful as she is. "At least he's working i see nothing wrong here ppl aren't obliged to stay, he put himself first," one user said. "lol why are ppl looking down on him for wanting to prioritise himself and his work as if he missed out on anything," another said.
