Emily Ratajkowski says she’s done with dating men who can’t handle a strong woman

The model, author, and podcaster then revealed that she has previously been told by men that they fancy a strong woman, only for them to not "know how to handle it." "Men have said, 'I like independent women. I want somebody who doesn’t need me'," she said.

"I feel like a lot of men who truly think they want a strong woman actually don’t know how to handle it and they don’t know what it means for their own identity.

"The strength and the power is associated with the masculine, and once a woman has that, a man doesn’t know what else he has."

She added: "But I’m like, 'How about you just be better at expressing your emotions and being there emotionally? That would be great.'" In October, Ratajkowski posted a TikTok in which she implied she was bisexual and in an interview with Harper's Bazaar she described sexuality as a "sliding scale", adding that she doesn't "really believe in straight people."

Speaking on her podcast she said that she can "understand dating women" because she believes there would be mutual "respect" in a relationship like that.
