What in seven hells is this?
In a clip we really have no explanation for, a professional
American footballer has admitted that one of his drinking habits involves putting
mayo in his
coffee. And now we've had to pour ours down the sink.
NCAA quarterback Will Levis, who plays for the University of Kentucky football team - also known as the Wildcats - recently demonstrated his bizarre dietary habit.
We know Americans often take tea and coffee much different than we Brits, with creamer often and half and half etc, but we're fairly confident when we say putting a condiment you'd find on a burger or put chips from a takeaway, in a hot beverage is pretty left-field.

Demonstrating the concoction for
CBS Sports, the athlete can be seen adding what we can only describe as a rather excessive few dollops of mayo into his otherwise unsullied black coffee.
Not only can you hear the typically savoury, egg-based sauce, plopping into the cup but you can also hear the horror and disbelief of those around him as they watch the 23-year-old take a big gulp.
Fans and unsuspecting commenters underneath the video reacted as you expect:

However, a couple of people tried to justify his stance:

Regardless of various other coffee trends around the globe, most people were of the opinion that there is no amount of stirring that can rescue a cup of coffee filled with mayo.
Kentucky, have a word with your boy.
