The FA Cup third round is truly magical sometimes. Fairytale giant killings, pitches that resemble ploughed fields acting as levellers for the lower league teams against better opposition, League 2 sides being on TV. It's great.
Another brilliant part of the early FA Cup rounds, is when Premier League clubs are exposed to the elements of football league stadiums. With lower stands to block the sun, and the biting January cold, pitches are often divided into the bitterly cold, dark shade, and the blindingly bright, hot sun.

Many goalkeepers combat this with a good old fashioned baseball cap, particularly Joe Hart. Although today, he forgot to bring one out and had to rely on the generosity of the West Ham fans behind him to lend him a cap for the half.
