“I got my lips tattooed and now people say I look like a Monsters Inc character”

However, unfortunately for Daisy, that's rather exactly what happened to her.

Daisy, who shared her ordeal on TikTok, is from the Windy City of Chicago, USA, and went to get a cosmetic procedure known as lip blushing, which claims to give your lips a long-lasting colour to avoid having to apply lipstick over and over again. I know all about that!

In case you didn't know, lip blushing, involves the use of a device comparable only to that of a tattoo gun, and similarly to a tattoo, the process includes inking your lips to create a semi-permanent colour which can last between two and four years.

Lip blushing is designed to give your lips a fuller and defined shape, however, sometimes it can cause some hella swelling and that's just what happened to Daisy.

Daisy knew all about the minor dangers, but still was nowhere near prepared for just HOW big her lips would get. Taking to social media in the immediate aftermath of the blushing, Daisy laughed and said that she has since been compared to Fungus, a character from Monsters Inc with more lips than face.

Daisy shared her clip to TikTok under the name @chicago_realtor_ and people have been finding the footage just hysterical. Daisy says in the video: "I can't even laugh. I was almost too embarrased to post this."

And she wasn't the only one to find it funny with thousands of people flocking to the comment section to share just how funny they found it too.

One person wrote: "This is the best thing I've ever seen."

Let's hope the swelling goes down soon and that Daisy's lips are exactly how she wanted them to be all along.
