They can talk the talk but can they walk the walk?
Declan Rice and Michail Antonio engage in their fair share of battles in the line of work. Contesting headers in the air and 50/50s on the ground, they are two of the most combative players in the West Ham squad and never shy away from getting stuck in- characteristics befitting of Call of Duty players.
At last month’s Call of Duty beta event, the Hammers duo tested the new Modern Warfare game for the first time and it’s safe to say they felt pretty confident in their ability, as Antonio claimed: “No-one’s getting near us on this game,” in a tweet after the event.
Brought the heat last night on @CallofDuty #modernwarfare with @_DeclanRice, no one’s getting near us on this game 👊🏾 pic.twitter.com/Adh0H0Ocay

What the winger might not have predicted was being asked to put his money where his mouth is, and back up these words in a two vs two contest with two keen West Ham fans.
Craig, AKA ‘Skxttlless’ and fellow gamer Billy engaged in some friendly trash talk with their footballing heroes, and Antonio gladly challenged them to a duel at the game’s official launch.
You boys haven’t got the minerals. @CallofDuty #ModernWarfare launch event is on Thursday evening, DM me if you fancy coming down. You two vs me and Dec, let’s go… 😎 #ad https://t.co/YFCvm0q7Oe

Antonio and Rice were humbled on the night, losing the contest, as Craig took full advantage of the chance to show off his achievement to the world.
Come on @_DeclanRice, @Michailantonio I expected more.. smh pic.twitter.com/CX3VkHt2PW

It was all handshakes in the end, though, after a night of gaming, food and live music.
Big shout out to @Michailantonio and @_DeclanRice for taking on @Skxttless and myself at the @CallofDuty #ModernWafare launch top lads and to top it off met @HallerSeb. pic.twitter.com/lyhVXFvI1z
