Tesco has launched mince pies for dogs, so now your canine companion can enjoy the festive treat as well.
Many of you pet owners out there will no doubt be planning on involving your animal friends in the festivities as much as possible. You may be thinking of buying them a present, or even plating up their own little Christmas dinner.
Well, now your dog can enjoy a mince pie with you, as Tesco is selling a range of mince pies for dogs this festive season.
Reacting to the product on Facebook, one person said: "My niece came to stay at my house and got these for my pampered pooch, who is normally fussy but he loved these."
Another commented: "What ever next!"
Responding to some people who were saying the treats will be unhealthy for dogs, someone penned: "It's Christmas it's a treat not supposed to be healthy they can eat healthy all year round."
Meanwhile, plenty of cat fans were in the comments asking why it seems to be dogs that get all the attention.
One person wrote: "Always seem to be for dogs but nothing Christmasy or for birthdays for Cats."
A second said: "What about cats it’s not al about dogs like some pet owners like me have cats."
A pack of two mince pies for dogs will cost £3.00. Other Christmas-themed dog treats include Cheese 'n' Biscuit treats for dogs, Chicks In Blankets for dogs and even Festive Macarons for dogs.
And for those who have feline friends, there's products such as 3 Bird Feast Meaty Sticks, Turkey Christmas Dinner for Cats, and Turkey & Cranberry Treat Crackers for Cats.
Just make sure you don't get them mixed up with food for human consumption after a few glasses of wine on Christmas Day.
