Nigella, in her sultry and infinite wisdom, has pioneered a brand new way of pronouncing everyone's fourth favourite kitchen appliance. Instead of saying 'Microwave', she said "meek-ro-wah-vey". I know right, absolutely nuts!

It's same to assume that privately educated Lawson who read medieval languages at Oxford, whose father is former Chancellor of the Exchequer Nigel Lawson, knows how to pronounce the efficient cooking device and was simply making a light-heared joke. But maybe not! Maybe she doesn't know how to say the name of the hottest selling cookery tool of the 1980s - with 2020 anything's possible!
