Twix, Mars, Oreo, Smarties – now there’s a new McFlurry flavour on the block
McDonald’s has announced that it is releasing a much-requested McFlurry flavour as part of its latest menu shakeup.
For years, fans have been calling for the Twirl McFlurry to be introduced to the McDonald’s universe and join the prestigious list of McFlurry flavours.

And now, finally, their calls have been heard, with the Twirl McFlurry hitting the menu.
In case you can’t work out what a Twirl McFlurry might entail, it’s ice cream with chunks of Cadbury’s Twirl coated in chocolate sauce – the classic formula.
If you want to pick one up a regular will set you back £1.69, while a mini pot of ice cream will cost £1.19.
The Twirl McFlurry is one of several new items being added to the Maccies menu, along with potato waffles (£1.39) and nacho cheese wedges with sour cream.
A regular box will cost you £2.29, while a sharing box will set you back £5.99 (we’re not judging if you decide to ignore the ‘sharing’ part.)
On the burger front, the BBQ Bacon Stack is back again, and there’s a triumphant comeback for the McCrispy, which is returning for the first time in 15 years.
But with every new arrival, there must sadly be some departures, and this time is no different.
So, from Wednesday next week (October 19) it is once again au revoir to the Big Tasty burger and all of McDonald’s Chicken Legends.
