According to
Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, Flair was admitted due to a heart-related issue that was initially called "routine monitoring," but the situation has gotten more serious.
The Nature Boy has been in professional wrestling since the 1970s and is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer. After a glittering career in WWE and WCW, he retired in December 2012.
Aside from this, he has been a world heavyweight champion 16 times in his extended career and is the subject of a new documentary that's being released soon.
Since the news of his ill-health was made public, plenty of wrestling fans have sent him their best wishes.
