Scientists reveal the best time for workouts and meals

Eoghan Doherty

Fads come and go, but we’re pretty sure food is here to stay.

For that reason, this information is sure to come in very handy.

According to Popsugar, official-sounding researchers who love sciencing the sh*t out of things have revealed that these are the best times to eat your breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Can’t we just eat them all at the one time? STOP JUDGING US.

Best time to eat breakfast: Within an hour of waking up.

Best time to eat lunch: Four and a half hours after eating breakfast.

Best time to eat dinner: A couple of hours after eating lunch.

Upsettingly there’s no mention of snacks. At any point.

Our advice though is just keep eating everything at all times of the day. That’s what we do.*

Additionally, the report also revealed that the best time of day to work out IS NEVER EVER is in the morning. This is due to the fact that you kick-start your metabolism earlier and therefore burn more calories throughout the rest of the day.

Look, here’s JOE hero Bill Murray eating AND working out at the same time.
