Gym+Coffee opens its first UK store in London

Gym+Coffee have opened the doors to their first UK store, right in the heart of London. An Irish-designed athleisure wear brand, Gym+Coffee was founded in 2017 by three fitness fanatic friends from Dublin and Cork. The founders of Gym+Coffee combined their love of fitness and fashion into a store stocking a full range of activewear. Whether it's a hoody, t-shirt or pair of leggings you're after (men included), each item is comfortable enough to wear at the gym, outdoors or lounging around. With five stores dotted across Ireland, the gymwear brand has now made its way across the pond to the UK. Its first British store opened on 24th October in Westfield Shopping Centre, White City, London. The store goes beyond stocking activewear. They aim to make life richer by housing a coffee bar in each store, encouraging people to open up and socialise. Pop into the store to pick up a new gym hoody and you may stumble upon a new training partner. The store's founders say they have had a UK base in mind for a while, but Brexit and the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic delayed matters. The London store is Gym+Coffee's 8th location, and the fourth they have opened since lockdown was eased in June. CEO Niall Horgan says: "This really is the next step for G+C, taking the business international and expanding our community. When we originally had this goal, we didn't think we'd have Brexit and a global pandemic to work through but we can't wait any longer for this next chapter.
