Why Pro Clubs is the best game mode on FIFA

Joe Gilmore

If you know, you know

Whenever a new FIFA game comes out, there’s always talk about new game modes. FIFA 20 saw the introduction of VOLTA, essentially a version of indoor football, featuring five-a-side teams which you could use to take on the AI or real people around the world.

FIFA Ultimate Team remains EA Sports’ money maker and the most popular game mode in the series, while Career Mode – though unchanged for a criminally long number of years and releases – retains a place in fans’ hearts.

For some people though, there is no better mode than Pro Clubs. This mode lets you do the sort of things Career Mode players can only dream of, including creating your own club, with bespoke kits and crests, as well as choosing your own stadium, which you can name and, as time goes on, upgrade.

But where it really shines is in the gameplay and how it allows you and your mates to have fun/get incredibly angry at each other. Assigning yourself roles, players can conceivably assume the roles of all 11 players, but if you have fewer than 10 close mates, you can compromise.

This is why Pro Clubs is by far the best way to play FIFA.
