WATCH: WWE release an emotional video of Becky Lynch following her nasty injury last week

Heartbreaking stuff.

Last week, following a nasty injury on Monday Night Raw, Irishwoman Becky Lynch was ruled out of the biggest fight of her career following a nasty concussion.

Lynch was punched in the face (properly) by Nia Jax, and it left her completely out of it.

As a result, her fight with former UFC champion Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series was cancelled, which is made all the worse by the fact that Lynch herself has arguably been the best thing about WWE television since their feud started.

The WWE have since released a video which shows the Bray native in the aftermath of the incident, and it makes for some really interesting watching.

It opens with her talking to her mam, in a scene which any Irish person who has picked up a sporting injury will understand…

She explains to her mother that she feels okay, saying: “I’m fine though. I feel fine. My nose is broken though, but I feel okay, so don’t be worrying. I feel okay, and my nose is still straight… Apparently.”

She is then told that she can’t fight in what is probably the biggest fight of her career, which is when she starts getting really emotional.

Have a look for yourself here:

The video ends with a chilling moment where Lynch, not making any eye contact with the camera, stares at the ground at whispers: “This isn’t over. This can’t be over.”

We know she’ll come back stronger than ever, and she seems to think the same.
