The first film is an incredibly hard act to follow, but the sequel is already looking good.

It might be a bit premature to start discussing the best movies of 2017, but if T2 Trainspotting lives up to the hype then it’s going to be hard topped next year. Following on from the incredible trailer released last month, the latest glimpse gives us an insight into the main character in the first movie, Renton (played by Ewan McGregor), and what he’s been up to in the 20 years since. “He’s not what the audience would expect Renton to be,” says McGregor, before adding with a chuckle: “He chose life.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrAqfhucOV8&feature=youtu.be Clip via Sony Pictures Ireland Roll on January 27.
