If the mother of dragons says it’s going to be a good season, then it’s going to be a good season.
What seems like an interminable wait for the next instalment of Game of Thrones will go on for a little longer yet, but we’re getting closer and closer.
Filming wraps up for the seventh season of the show today, or at least it does for one of the show’s principal stars, Emilia Clarke, who plays the mother of dragons herself, Daenerys Targaryen.
Before filming started for the day, Emilia decided to celebrate her last day on set with a little lip sync to ‘I believe I can fly’ by R. Kelly, no doubt in reference to her own dragon-assisted ability to do likewise herself.
In a brief message alongside the video, she expressed her belief, in capitals, that season seven will be a MIND BLOWER, which is some claim given what we’ve witnessed in the six seasons to date.
We’ll take you at your word Emilia; sure it will start later than usual and there won’t be as many episodes as past seasons, but we still can’t wait.
