Viewers think this Honey G stage invader was fixed by X Factor’s producers

Everyone loves a conspiracy

JOE

Whether you’re a massive X Factor fan or not (and we’ve a suspicion the average JOE reader probably isn’t), it’s been pretty hard to escape talk of Honey G of late.

Billed as the singing contest’s first ever ‘rapper’, the contestant has divided opinion since reaching the live shows, remaining there at the expense of other ‘more talented’ performers.

Still in the running as the show enters its final weeks, it seems there’s *still* good reason for Honey G’s name to trend on Twitter.

This week though, it’s not got quite as much to do with her performance.

Having finished her rendition of MC Hammer’s Can’t Touch This, Honey G stood in position to receive feedback from the panel of judges when someone was seen invading the stage from the audience.

You can’t quite make out what the stage invader says when he attempts to snatch the microphone off Honey G, nor are the cameras trained on him for long enough to work out what the hell is actually going on.

Still, Sharon Osbourne seems amused, and the grin on Honey G’s face suggests she’s not been too shaken by the incident.

But just when we were thinking in was no big deal, someone goes and tweets this…

Promoted by the X Factor crew, eh? Why? We’re not exactly sure, to be honest.

Either way, Twitter was full of it, with some suggesting the man responsible was Lee Nelson, the character portrayed by comedian Simon Brodkin (he of Sepp Blatter fame).
