Viewers spot massive problem with Corrie star Carla Connor’s life-threatening surgery

Carla and her half brother Aidan underwent a kidney transplant, but the strenuous operation did not have any impact on the actress' make up.

Attentive Coronation Street viewers were quick to identify a continuity error in last night's episode. Carla Connor received a kidney donation from her half-brother Aidan, giving her character at least another six month's worth of storyline before the next life-threatening drama. Presumably wanting to impress the surgeons, Carla entered the operating theatre with a full face of make up and, after undergoing surgery, came out looking the same if not more fresh-faced. Maybe a little smudged mascara or a tasteful smearing of lipstick.
