What the f*ck did we just see?
Stanley Kubrick's The Shining is of course a masterpiece of cinema. The 1980 release is critically acclaimed for its thrilling tempo, unsettling plot and masterly cinematography. Each scene is a perfectly composed masterpiece. The Chickening, a short film that parodies the iconic movie, is daft, twisted, immature and quite brilliant. Perhaps not to everyone's taste, the 5 minute creation by animators Nick DenBoer and Davy Force is a tour de force in twisted surrealism. There's no point in us explaining the video - it's simply too weird.
