Holy shitballs. This looks f*cking intense.

The latest Mad Max: Fury Road trailer is a two minute shot of adrenaline whilst downing neat shots of Jack Daniels. It’s a post-apocalypse Jeremy Clarkson fever-dream: a man on an acid trip at Burning Man juggling chainsaws whilst riding a Harley Davidson.

The trailer shows Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron as they tear-arse around a futuristic desert wasteland, pursued by evil warlord Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne) and his army of flame-throwing guitar-wielding maniacs.

George Miller - who directed the original Mel Gibson film in 1979 - has returned for this reboot and it certainly looks like he has left nothing in the tank.

Mad Max: Fury Road is released worldwide on 15 May.
