Victoria Beckham’s fashion and beauty empire has finally turned a profit, marking a major change for the business after years of financial losses.
Accounts for Victoria Beckham Holdings Ltd show that the company made an operating profit of £7.3 million in 2025, its first since the business was launched in 2008. The company is led creatively by the former Spice Girl, who has spent years trying to establish the label as a serious luxury brand.
Speaking to the Financial Times, Victoria Beckham said reaching profitability had been a long-term goal for everyone involved and acknowledged that the business had faced well-publicised difficulties over the years.
“We've been very transparent about the problems that we had in the business but have recovered and are now growing at a sensible pace. After 20 years, people don't look at my brand as a celebrity brand any more.”
Victoria Beckham’s turnaround comes after years of financial struggles, something that was explored in last year’s Netflix documentary about her efforts to make the fashion label profitable. The series also appeared to give sales a boost, with the company reporting particularly strong demand for its denim and jersey ranges.
The fashion business recorded strong double-digit growth in 2025, while Victoria Beckham Beauty, which launched in 2019, also had one of its best performances so far. Its Foundation Drops proved particularly popular, attracting a 25,000-person waiting list.
The documentary also showed just how difficult things had become before the recent recovery, revealing that the company had been tens of millions of pounds in debt and that her husband, Sir David Beckham, had stepped in to help keep it going. Victoria later said that without his belief in her, she would no longer have a business.
The company also received a major boost in 2017 when NEO Investment Partners invested £30 million for a 30% stake. The investment came with a restructuring of the business, including efforts to tackle the huge amount of waste Beckham had previously described as “mindblowing”.
After years of trying to establish herself beyond her pop career, the return to profitability marks another significant step in Beckham’s transformation from Spice Girl to fashion and beauty entrepreneur.
