So says Thanos, the big bad Vimto-faced villain set to destroy the world but make your summer.
After the first trailer whetted appetites for Marvel fans around the world, things have been kicked up a significant notch with the latest reveal in the brand new trailer for Avengers: Infinity War.
Well, what is it all about?
Chaos, mostly. Dollops and dollops of chaos. With a little disarray sprinkled on top.
It’s your classic battle for supremacy as the Avengers – and new bickering friends the Guardians of the Galaxy – team up to thwart Thanos and his quest to essentially level half of humanity.
We’ve seen glimpses of Josh Brolin’s CGI supervillain but the latest trailer gives us both a good extended look at him and goes some way to explaining what he’s all about.
If you’re unfamiliar, Thanos is obsessed with death to the point that he courts it, and thus is hell-bent on establishing his violent new world order. Lovely.
Also, we’re pretty sure that the above is Tom Vaughan-Lawlor as Ebony Maw; one of Thanos’ most vicious henchmen who appears to have Dr. Strange in a precarious position.
Why he is doing the shush celebration, like he is Son Heung-Min thumping in a thirty-five yarder away at West Ham, remains to be seen. He has likely just done something deliciously evil, and we can’t wait to find out.
Expect lots of action, one-liners that will make you cry and so much stuff going on that you probably want to see it a few extra times just so you caught everything. That’s the excuse we use, anyway.
