The new trailer for Logan goes heavy on the violence and gore

Not long until it hits cinemas.

Paul Moore

Wolverine is unleashed.

Given that the X-Men movies did massive numbers at the box-office, it was always unlikely that the studio would make an 18+ version of Wolverine. This being said, the character has such a violent and bloody history that audiences deserved more.

That’s why we absolutely loved the first trailer for Logan.

Film fans will know that one of the best moments from X2: X-Men United was when Wolverine went full berserker on Colonel William Stryker’s henchmen at Xavier’s mansion, and James Mangold seems like he really understands the tone that his new film has to take.

If the first trailer was atmospheric and moody, this new one is gritty and bloody.

Plot’s it all about:  In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hideout on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.
