Leatherface is back.
There are certain moments in horror history that will always stay with film fans.
For example, who didn't constantly rewind the VHS (yes, VHS) during the famous decapitation scene in The Omen? Can you remember having the s**t scared out of you by the chestburster scene in Alien, or the first appearance of the demonic Pazuzu in The Exorcist?
Well, horror fans might add the memorable entrance that Leatherface made in Tobe Hooper's iconic horror, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, to that horrific list.
The blunt force that he used to smack Kirk over the head with a hammer was memorable, but that was just a taste of what's in store.

Bloody Disgusting are reporting that Leatherface will be released exclusively on DirecTV on September 21, 2017, with a limited theatrical run and full release on October 20, 2017.
We're being promised “a brutal and nihilistic road movie," and from the look of these first images, that's what we're getting.
