Netflix has officially renewed The Gentlemen for a third season, confirming an eight-episode run on the same day the first trailer for season two arrived.
Guy Ritchie's high-society, high-octane caper, starring Theo James and Kaya Scodelario, will return for a third outing.
Variety first reported the renewal, which understands the new season is already in pre-production.
No scripts have been finalised and no new casting has been confirmed, despite persistent reports linking Meghan Markle to a role. Production is due to begin imminently.
The commission continues a productive run for Ritchie on streaming, following Guy Ritchie's crime series MobLand, and lands as the platform keeps investing in Netflix's British slate.
"I'm looking forward to pushing the boundaries further," said director Guy Ritchie about the third season.
The series, a spin-off of Ritchie's 2019 film of the same name, follows an aristocratic family drawn into the cannabis trade after inheriting a sprawling country estate.
James plays the reluctant heir at the centre of it, with Scodelario as the operator he is forced to do business with.
Both are expected back for the third run, though Netflix has confirmed no cast details beyond the renewal itself.
Netflix has not yet confirmed a release date for either the second or third season, though the season two trailer is out now.
