The first trailer for The Dark Tower is slick, epic and very exciting indeed

Fans of Stephen King will have been waiting for this day for some time. Adaptations of his books have made for some of the best and most iconic films in cinema, and now we have the latest addition to the canon: The Dark Tower. Based on the celebrated series of books, The Dark Tower sees Idris Elba step into the boots of Roland Deschain, the last Gunslinger, facing off against Matthew McConaughey as Walter O’Dim, AKA the Man in Black. The movie has been talked about and teased for ages, but at last we have our first look at some footage, and boy does it look good.
