At first, Daredevil absolutely smashed through the Kingpin’s crime syndicate in the superb actioner, but the arrival of Jessica Jones and Luke Cage somehow managed to up the ante.
The world was introduced to the kung-fu mysticism of Danny Rand earlier this year, but the footage that every comic-book fan wants to see has finally been revealed.
Forget about the Avengers assembling, it’s time for The Defenders to kick some ass in New York City.
Marvel’s The Defenders follows Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Danny Rand/Iron Fist (Finn Jones), a quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City.
This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realise they just might be stronger when teamed together.
Much like the wonderful supporting characters that we’ve already seen in Marvel’s tv shows, The Defenders also has some superb talent elsewhere.
