The star was left traumatised from the incident.
A former Strictly Come Dancing star has shared her experience with a week from hell that has seen her robbed and end up in hospital for a major surgery.
Saffron Barker has gone through a series of major setbacks, which she revealed to fans via an Instagram post.
In the post was a photo of her in a hospital bed holding on to a teddy bear.
In the caption of the post, she wrote: “In the last week I’ve been in hospital, had emergency surgery, got my rental car completely smashed up and every single thing I own stolen including my passport so I can’t get home.”
Over the past week, the YouTube star has been sharing photos of her time in California, but she has not shared any further updates on the issues she’s facing.
She began her YouTube career in 2015 and currently has 2.44 million subscrobers on the platform.

Barker featured on 2019’s Strictly lineup and danced alongside AJ Pritchard. They finished sixth, with Kelvin Fletcher and Oti Mabuse winning the series.
The 24-year-old was also on Celebrity Hunted and The Celebrity Circle.
She was rushed to hospital last year with a suspected “tropical disease”.
Barker shared images online showing her skin covered in a red rash, an IV drip coming from her arm and bloody bruises where blood had been drawn by medics.
Despite initial worries it turned out that the influencer did not have malaria.
