The 65-year-old comedian has filmed a festive television special, which is live on streaming service Netflix.
Directed by Sofia Coppola and described as "an homage to the classic variety show", it sees the comic having to make the best of a bad situation when a blizzard halts production of a live holiday show at New York's Carlyle Hotel.
Speaking about the show's concept, the Ghostbusters actor said: "I think we just wanted to see if we could have fun in ... kind of a boozy way, a relaxed way, the way Christmas holidays get when people really start to sing Christmas carols. They get relaxed and let the feeling get into it."
