Someone proposed on X Factor and pissed off an entire nation

Ah the X Factor, Saturday nights hardly get more romantic than this.

The reality TV show has produced its fair share of weird and wonderful moments and this latest one sits somewhere in between the two. Couple Charlotte and Silva just auditioned as duo 'He Knows She Knows'. The pair explain that they've been singing together since they met six months ago. Silva explains that Charlotte messaged him on Christmas Eve and, overcome with passion, they moved in together on Boxing Day. The couple were actually quite talented and they earned the approval of all four judges for their rendition of Justin Bieber's 'Love Yourself'. Before they could run off and prepare for Bootcamp though, Silva took the opportunity to propose to his redheaded lover. She said yes, obviously and said she's never had a happier day.
