With Del out, the crime syndicate sends their ruthless attorney Helen Pierce to town to shake things up just as The Byrdes are finally settling in.
Marty and Wendy struggle to balance their family interests amid the escalating dangers presented by their partnerships with the power-hungry Snells, the cartel and their new deputy, Ruth Langmore, whose father Cade has been released from prison.
The stakes are even higher than before and The Byrdes soon realise they have to go all in before they can get out.
Take a look at what's in store.

In terms of what you can expect from the characters, Jason Bateman insists that the story will still revolve around the Byrde family and that they still feel like prisoners against their will.
Bateman said: “You look for opportunities to relate to the audience you’re trying to reach and, obviously, family dynamics is an evergreen theme to link and tether any show or movie to, because everyone’s got one, whether it’s a functional one or not.
"So I think it is a smart decision from Chris Mundy to really have that inform where everything goes; the decisions that are made are meant to maintain the happiness of the family or, you know, to get out.
"I mean, you know, the Byrde family is trying to end this show. The Byrde family is not interested in Season 2, 3, 4, 5; they want to get home and they want to be done with it. So, all the decisions are made to end this and make this healthy again, get boring again, you know, as a family. So that is interesting to watch as a viewer and to try to perform.”
Season 2 of Ozark premieres exclusively on Netflix globally on 31 August and if you need a reminder of what unfolded in Season 1, this recap will do very nicely.
