Thankfully, the former Preston defender has cleared things up, telling the Daily Telegraph that it was just a photograph. "I was with my girlfriend and we knew a few people there and went to Taylor Swift's aftershow for her New Year's Eve bash," he said. "We ended up talking and had a picture taken.
