The claims against the disgraced movie producer Harvey Weinstein keep coming.

Annabella Sciorra, who starred in the film The Hand That Rocks The Cradle as well as The Sopranos, has alleged that she was raped by Harvey Weinstein in the 1990s.

Sciorra – who played Tony Soprano’s lover Gloria Trillo in the third series of the seminal mob drama – told the New Yorker’s Ronan Farrow that the former film executive barged into her apartment and forced her into non-consensual sex.

“He shoved me onto the bed, and he got on top of me,” Sciorra t0ld Farrow. “I kicked and I yelled,” she said.

Sciorra says, like many of the women alleging that the 65-year-old sexually assaulted them, that she didn’t go to the police because she believed he had the power to destroy her career.

Daryl Hannah, one of the biggest stars of the 1980s with roles in films such as Splash and Wall Street, has also made claims that Weinstein harassed her on a number of occasions.

She recalled fleeing her hotel room with Weinstein demanding to be let in.

“It was sort of incessant, and then it started turning into pounding on my door,” she said.

Hannah revealed that, the following evening, she barricaded herself inside her hotel room to stop the executive from entering. On another occasion, he entered her room without permission while she was watching a film with a friend.

Weinstein, let go from the company that bears his name and expelled from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, denies the claims.

“Mr Weinstein unequivocally denies any allegations of non-consensual sex,” his spokeswoman told the New Yorker.
