Honey who?
Scarlett Moffatt had quite a 2016. Whilst the year was one to forget for many, the County Durham lass enjoyed many a personal triumph. She sparkled as usual on Gogglebox, her DJ career went from strength to strength, and of course she was crowned Queen of the celebrity jungle.
In many ways she could be described as the reality TV face of 2016…if it wasn’t for Honey G. The novelty rapper was her only real competition when it came to column inches and media attention, with her ludicrous hip hop act and prolonged stay on what was once a talent show, the X Factor.
But now Scarlett has shown that she can even match her telly rival when it comes to shit rapping, as was evident on E4’s Virtually Famous on Tuesday night. Her lyrical skills were put on the spot by fellow North-East favourite Chris Ramsey, and she didn’t disappoint.
They say write/rap about what you know, and MC Moffatt certainly did that…
